Stephanie is a mythologist, writer, and teacher focusing on the multidisciplinary intersection of myth, religion, and women’s studies. She holds a doctorate in Mythological Studies emphasizing Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a certification in Spiritual Direction from Southern Methodist University‘s Perkins School of Theology. Stephanie has a diverse background, including corporate marketing, communications, and instructional design.
Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations for the Joseph Campbell Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the study of myth, and is co-founder of the Fates and Graces, hosting webinars and workshops for the myth community. She is a regular contributor to the Foundation’s MythBlast essay series and is a co-author of Goddesses: A Skeleton Key Study Guide
Stephanie’s teaching experience spans both live and online courses, including “Myth in Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale” at Roundtable by the 92nd Street Y, New York, and “Joseph Campbell: Myth & Storytelling as a Gateway to Psyche and Soul” at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Her journey from corporate marketing to full-time motherhood ignited her passion for mythological studies, and she aims to empower others by connecting their personal stories with archetypal patterns found in mythology. Through her writing, teaching, and speaking engagements, Stephanie offers transformative insights into the power of myth and storytelling, guiding individuals toward a deeper understanding of both personal and collective narratives.
